and not out of the realm of possibility either, I might add. However, ten years is a long time. B10 network has now been around about 10 years. SEC has now been around about seven. Seems a long time ago, at least to me, and 10-15 years for expiration of GOR in ACC is a like period.

However, I doubt anything goes that long given the current media and collegiate landscape. NIL, CFP expansion, expiration of B12 agreements 2025 or before, possible shifts of NCAA divisions in coming years and the inevitable jockeying for legal position and threat of government involvement would all seem to indicate change will happen long before a buyout of GOR in the ACC happens and the GOR probably dissolves on its own in response to change. I think the GOR is doing exactly what it was originally designed to do. It bought the ACC time, provided stability and yielded the strongest TV partner the ACC could get.
